Addressing investors, industrialists and government officials, the Chief Minister emphasized the government's commitment to attracting investment, strengthening infrastructure and creating employment opportunities for Bihar's youth.
Bihar Integrated Manufacturing City to Boost Industrial Growth
The proposed manufacturing city is expected to become an important industrial hub in Bihar, providing infrastructure for manufacturing units, industrial businesses and supporting economic activities.
Its development under the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor is intended to improve industrial connectivity and strengthen the state's manufacturing capabilities.

The government aims to develop modern industrial infrastructure that can attract businesses from multiple sectors and support long-term economic development.

One of the most significant aspects of the proposed manufacturing city is its projected economic impact.
The state government estimates that the project could attract investments worth approximately Rs 16,500 crore and generate around 1.1 lakh employment opportunities.
If implemented successfully, the industrial city could create jobs for engineers, technicians, skilled workers, logistics professionals and other employees across manufacturing and supporting industries.

Better connectivity could benefit industrial investment, business travel and tourism, particularly in Gayaji, which is known for its historical and religious importance.
The proposed air routes remain at the planning stage, and their operation will depend on necessary approvals and airline arrangements.
Steel, Textiles, Electronics and Electric Vehicles Among Priority Sectors
The Chief Minister identified several industries with strong investment potential in Bihar, including steel, textiles, food processing, electronics, electric vehicles and biofuels.
These sectors are expected to contribute to the state's industrial diversification and create employment opportunities for local residents.

He said the success of industrial initiatives would ultimately depend on actual production, infrastructure development and employment generation.

In another important development, the Bihar government signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with 12 industrial units during the event.
The agreements involve proposed investments totaling approximately Rs 4,092 crore.
The proposed projects cover multiple sectors, including energy, textiles, organic products, automobiles, aluminium, agro-based industries and biotechnology.
These investments are expected to strengthen industrial production and generate employment opportunities once the projects become operational.

A Major Step Towards Bihar's Industrial Development
